 Villa Chant enjoys a quiet location yet is convenient located being a 15 minute walk into the centre of Bedarieux with its shops, restaurants and bars and weekly Monday market which draws people from afar. The villa is has a south facing rear garden with views and is safe and secure. Ideal for families and groups with rates for up to 4 or 6 people.The property is also well located for exploring the Languedoc region and the Mediterraneans sandy beaches as well of course for the mountains, lakes and rivers of the Languedoc National Park. The Olive mill at Clerment L’Herault is just 20 minutes drive, there are more wines to taste than you possibly could try this being part of the worlds largest wine region with Faugeres wines of particularly good quality on the doorstep. There is fishing on the river, windsurfing on the Lac du Salagou or on the Mediterranean, golf 10 minutes away in the spa town of Lamalou les Bains, canoeing, horse riding, bike hire and of course plenty to visit. These include the walled city of Carcassone and hour and half a way, Pezenas and its cobbleds streets, Beziers with its festivals and feria just 30 minutes away, the Pont du Gard about 2 hours drive and Barcelona is just 3 hours drive. |
 The accommodation is spacious in the villa and there is a single garage as well as off street parking space. Downstairs is a large through lounge dining room with two sets of double French doors leading to the terrace and fully tiled swimming pool which has a roller shutter for security. There is also a kitchen breakfast room with all facilities and door to the terrace, where all furniture and barbecue are provided. There is a downstairs cloakroom and all washing and drying facilities. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave; oven and hob, fridge freezer and all cutlery, crockery and utensils. All linen and towels are provided except beach towels and an end of stay clean is included in the rental price.Upstairs there are three double bedrooms with two of them being twin bedrooms and one a double bed; two of the bedrooms have a balcony and views over the pool and to the rear of the house to the hills beyond. There are two bathrooms one of which is an ensuite shower room; The property is ideal for families or couples. No smoking or pets are permitted in the villa. |
Access via UK airports such as Gatwick - Montpellier (Easyjet), Luton and Bristol - Beziers (Ryanair), Manchester, Birmingham, Stanstead and Bristol to Perpignan (various), Liverpool, Dublin; Cork, Shannon, Edinburgh to Carcassone (Ryanair) and Nimes from Liverpool, East Midlands and Luton as well as further afield via Girona and Toulouse. All are within a few hours and most within an hour and a half. Montpellier and Beziers under and hour. There are trains to Bedarieux from Beziers with TGV connection to Paris via Beziers (4 hours) and buses to Beziers and Montpellier. A car is recommended.Prices are for a minimum weekly stay and Saturday to Saturday in peak season. They include an end of stay clean.
