 Inside the villa you will find a large lounge dining room with fireplace and with mezzanine study area, kitchen breakfast room onto the conservatory, four double bedrooms each with built in wardrobes, one with ensuite shower room, and a separate family bathroom with bath and separate shower and double washhandbasins, separate WC. There is also a cellar room for storage, garage for two cars, secure parking behind electric gates for several others and a store room with table tennis table. There is a satellite TV, terrestial TV with French channels, DVD player, music centre and radio. And of course a tiled secured swimming pool behind the high wall and hedging.The house is located within a short walk of the Chateau restaurant and village centre with all its basic shops, including, bakery, post office, butchers, newspaper shop and chemists as well as having a large Intermarche supermarket in the village just 2 minutes drive away. The villa makes an ideal place for relaxing with outside garden furniture for eating and sunbathing, barbecue and outside shower areas. Or as an ideal place to explore the region, using the villa as a family base to visit Beziers, Montpellier, Carcassone, Nimes or even Barcelona and the Pyrennees mountains on the way or of course for the long sandy Mediterranean beaches just 18 kilometers away. |
 The village lies just to the north of Beziers on the Orb river where there is canoeing, tennis and outdoor sports, as well as all facilities in the village, supermarket, local shops, restaurant and a chateau hotel restaurant on the banks of the Orb with a park adjoining the village on the banks available to all and ideal for picnics! The town of Beziers has a number of annual festivals, including the new wine festival in October, the Festa D'Oc where Beziers is the centre of the Occitan culture and its Cathar history, and of course the largest street festival in southern France in Mid August around the Feria, based on its historical Spanish culture which involves, childrens parades, street parties and dining, flamenco dancing, horse shows and of course bull fighting! There is something happening every weekend from mid February to Decemeber in one of the villages, everything from antique festivals and markets to local craft fairs, chestnut festivals; mimosa fetes with something for all the family - and we haven't even mentioned the places to visit such as Carcassone and its medieval city, the long sandy Mediterranean beaches, the flamingoes in the lagoons, the highest road bridge in the world at Millau, the Knights Templar village at St Guilhelm le dessert, the Pont du Gard and of course the great shops in Beziers, Montpellier and Perpignan.Flights to Beziers(from London Stanstead in July and Bristol airports, Carcassone, Perpignan, Montpellier, Nimes, Toulouse and Girona in Spain with Ryanair, Easyjet, Jet2com fly from many UK airports. The villa has electric radiators, log fire, Satellite TV, CD and DVD player, table tennis room, as well as all kitchen equipment and cooking needs, including utensils, dishwasher and washing machine. There are four double beds. Double garage with secure parking behind electric gates for several cars and of course the private use of the tiled swimming pool.Changeover is Saturday to Saturday in June, July and August with weekday changeovers available out of peak season. Prices include linen and towels but not beach towels as well as end of stay clean, additional linen needs can be ordered from the housekeepers at direct cost as well as a grocery welcome pack. Weekly rental prices are 1590 Euros in peak season, 800 Euros in April, May, June and September and 690 Euros per week the rest of the year. |
